Ascent Technology is located on the corner of Broadway and Third Street in the heart of Kendall Square, Cambridge, MA, at the eastern edge of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology campus.

All visitors to the One Broadway must show a photo ID to the security guard and sign the visitors' log book prior to entering the first-floor elevator lobby. The guard may also inspect visitors' bags, briefcases, and other items. Visitors must sign out at the security desk when leaving the building.

Public parking is available for a fee in the One Broadway parking garage, which is entered from the Third Street side of the building.

How to get to Ascent Technology from Logan International Airport

Because of traffic congestion and scarce parking, we recommend you take a taxi or use public transportation to get to Ascent Technology from Logan International Airport.

By taxi: Designated taxi stands are located outside each terminal at Logan International Airport. Ask the taxi driver to take you to One Broadway in Kendall Square, Cambridge. Taxi fare to Ascent Technology is approximately $40.00, plus a 15% tip; travel time is approximately 25 minutes. Few taxis accept credit cards.

By limousine: Limousine service is available at Logan International Airport by advance reservation. We recommend using Boston Coach (+1.800.672.7676; +1.617.387.7676), which provides service using executive sedans. When you make your reservation, you will be told where to find your driver in the designated limousine zones located outside each terminal. The fare to Ascent Technology is approximately $70, including tolls and tip, for an executive sedan. Travel time is approximately 25 minutes. Boston Coach accepts major credit cards.

By public transportation: Take the Silver Line bus, which stops outside all terminals, to South Station and change to the Red Line train going toward Alewife Station. Get off at the Kendall/MIT station, which is four stops from South Station. (Taking the combination of the Silver Line bus and the Red Line train costs a total of $2.00.) When you exit the Kendall/MIT station, you will be in front of the Marriott Hotel, in the Cambridge Center office building complex. With the Marriott Hotel on your left, walk to the end of the block, and cross the street to the small park in the middle of Kendall Square. One Broadway is across the street to your left. Travel time to Ascent Technology is approximately 30 minutes.

Alternatively, take the free airport shuttle bus, which stops outside all terminals, to the Logan Airport MBTA station. For $2.00, take the Blue Line train inbound to the Government Center MBTA station, go upstairs and change to the Green Line train inbound to the Park Street MBTA station, which is one stop away. At Park Street, go downstairs to change to the Red Line train outbound to the Kendall/MIT station, which is two stops away. When you exit the Kendall-MIT station, you will be in front of the Marriott Hotel, in the Cambridge Center office building complex. With the Marriott Hotel on your left, walk to the end of the block, and cross the street to the small park. One Broadway is across the street to your left. Travel time to Ascent Technology is approximately one hour.

By car: From the airport, follow the signs to Boston via the Sumner Tunnel/Boston/Route 93 (3) North. There is a $3.00 toll to use the tunnel. When you exit the tunnel, take Rte 93 (3) North. Take the second exit on the right to Storrow Drive/Cambridge. Stay in the left lane, and take the Kendall Square/Government Center exit, which is an up-ramp, now staying in the right lane. At the top of the ramp, turn right toward Kendall Square and go over the Longfellow Bridge into Cambridge. You will be on Main Street, which becomes Broadway at the first traffic signal at the corner of Third Street. Turn right onto Third Street, and the parking garage entrance is immediately to your right. Do not attempt to drive from the airport unless you have nerves of steel and enjoy getting lost while driving in heavily congested traffic surrounded by unforgiving drivers.

How to get to Ascent Technology from the Massachusetts Turnpike (Route 90)

Take the Allston/Cambridge exit (exit 18) from the Massachusetts Turnpike, which exits from the left lane. Go through the toll booth and bear right toward Cambridge/Somerville. The exit ramp ends at Cambridge Street, in front of the River Street Bridge over the Charles River, which divides Boston from Cambridge. (Note: Cambridge Street becomes River Street at the Boston/Cambridge line.)

Following the signs to Cambridge, cross the River Street Bridge into Cambridge. On the bridge, stay in the right lane. At the end of the River Street Bridge, turn right on Memorial Drive East, the parkway that runs parallel to the Charles River. The river will be to your right.

In approximately 3/4 of a mile, just past a sign warning trucks about low clearance, Memorial Drive climbs to an overpass, with a lane splitting off to the right. Continue straight on Memorial Drive over the overpass, and then through an underpass (under Massachusetts Avenue), changing to the left lane immediately after the underpass. Turn left onto Ames Street, and at the second set of lights, turn right on to Broadway. Stay in the left lane. At the first set of lights, turn left on to Third Street. The entrance to the One Broadway parking garage is immediately to your right.
